How long is the course: 3 hours

We will spend time going over all your questions and more! My goal is to fill in the gaps you might have going into labor. See below for possible topics.

Have you already had a baby? Need a quick refresh?
This course can be tailored to your needs and what you need help reviewing. Parents really enjoy the tips on transitioning their other children and preparing for postpartum with more than one child. 

​What we cover:  I work with you to cover specific topics you want to refresh as well as: 
  • How to prepare for home or hospital birth
  • Stages of labor/ways to progress 
  • When to head to the hospital or call your midwife/benefits of laboring at home
  • Fear/tension/pain cycle
  • Coping techniques/comfort measures 
  • Creating birth plans
  • Hands-on positioning for labor and pushing 
  • Possible interventions
  • Practice scenarios for birth
  • Preparing for postpartum
  • Postpartum with other children at home
  • Helping other siblings transition to a new baby
  • Advocating for your wants and needs
