What is a birth philosophy?

A birth philosophy is how you think about birth, and how you believe a woman can work through labor.

There are so many voices telling women what the “perfect birth” looks like. I believe that babies are precious, good gifts and that what works for the birth of each child is unique.

At the end of the day, I want you to have evidence-based information alongside safe care with a provider you trust. You should make choices that work best for you and your family. Know your options, and have support. 

I spend a large amount of time talking through every aspect of care with clients including: nutrition, exercise, optimal fetal positioning (getting your baby in a good posistion before labor), fears or concerns and so much more.

Going through any life change is made easier when you have people walking alongside you. My role is to walk with you, support you, and rejoice with you as your child is born.
